2022 WILDCAT FOOTBALL & CHEER
FOOTBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
We are excited to begin registration for our upcoming Football and Cheer Season! This will be the 37th Season for the Manatee Wildcats. Many of you may have already seen that the home of the Manatee Wildcats has been officially named Nick Pagnotta Field at Dr. Charles A. Tomeo Stadium. This was voted on unanimously by our Manatee County Commissioners. The signs are already up at the field, but there will be an official ceremony presented by Manatee County during the upcoming football and cheer season.
2022 Football and Cheer Registration:
We are using a new online registration system, Sports Connect, as they have partnered with Pop Warner to be the system that must be used to import and submit team rosters. If there are any issues as we roll this new system out, please let us know as this is new to us.
Below is the link that will take you directly to registration. You will need to create a profile with Sports Connect to register your kids.

Registration Cost - For 2022 the cost for registration is $250 for Football and $400 for Cheer ($250 for Tiny-Mite Cheer). When you checkout at registration, it will give you the option to pay for registration all at once or over 3 payments before the season starts.
Sponsorships - We do field sign sponsorships that will cover the cost of a player or cheerleaders registration. We have attached the document that can be filled out to get a sponsorship.
Registration Documents Needed:
*The following documents must be completed and turned in for a player to complete registration with Pop Warner.
1) 2022 Player/Parents Contract (see attached)
2) 2022 Pop Warner Physical (see attached)
3) Report Card from the 2021-2022 School Year (showing all 4 Quarters)
4) Player Picture
5) For new players - Original or Certified Copy of Player Birth Certificate
Cheer Division Notes:
We are registering 3 Cheer Divisions that encompass all age groups.
1) Tiny-Mite (age 5,6,7)
2) Jr. Pee Wee (age 8,9,10,11)
3) Varsity (age 12,13, 14)
* If registration numbers reflect a different demand, then we may adjust these teams.
$400 Cheer Registration Includes:
1) Practice Clothes
7) Uniform (must return at the end of the season)
8) Hotels for Regionals (not included in Tiny-Mite Registration)
$250 Football Registration Includes:
1) Practice Shirt
2) Practice Shorts
3) Practice Jersey
5) Helmet (must return)
6) Shoulder Pads (must return)
7) Integrated Padded Pants (must return)
You can go ahead and mark your calendars now with our official start date of Monday, August 1st. That will be our first day of practice.
Fall Practice Schedule
Practice will be Monday through Friday, 5:45pm to 7:45pm to start the season until we get our conditioning days completed.
Please be prepared for a Saturday morning practice if we get rained out one of our conditioning days.
We will then move to 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and practice will be from 6:00pm to 7:45pm.
As soon as we get our game schedule from our Conference, FYD, we will let you know.
We play games on Saturday and we normally start in the morning with our younger teams.
Games usually begin with the Jamboree the 3rd Week in August.

Pop Warner is the ONLY youth football program (local, regional and national) that sets and enforces a strict Age & Weight Matrix that reduces the risk and reality of injuries. Established in 1929 by founder Joseph J. Tomlin as a four-team conference in Northeast Philadelphia participation, has steadily increased to today's record numbers. With over 250,000 youths participating in Pop Warner-sanctioned football programs in 2010, the numbers have just continued to grow.
